Aluminium Timber Composite Windows – Case study
Uniform Architectural Ltd are immensely proud to have had their uni_one® timber/aluminium composite windows and doors selected for the Audley Cooper’s Hill, the luxury retirement village recently completed in Englefield Green near Runnymede, Surrey.
Since 1991, Audley Group has championed and reinvented the retirement property market, challenging the care home model and introducing as a first of its kind, the concept of luxury retirement villages for the over 55s. Audley Villages, the Group’s high-end brand, has since established themselves as the pioneer and market leaders of this innovative concept of a totally self-sufficient and all-inclusive retirement village, providing every amenity at the height of luxury.
Uniform timber composite windows were selected as their quality and performance capability blends perfectly with the Audley concept.
Due to the high quality, design and timber engineering of uni_one composite windows, combined with many innovative special features, these aluminium-clad timber windows can achieve larger sizes, higher acoustics, better thermal insulation and a more comprehensive range of internal finishes, than any competitor. This provides the client and architects with more choices, from which to better achieve their ideal design solution without compromise.
Just some examples of the added refinements available from Uniform Architectural are:-
- Juliet balconies, which are fully integrated with the window, so no visible fixings and no extra trades on site. They are fully certified for guarding and available with either clear glass screens or traditional vertical metal bars. Photos attached from Runnymede and elsewhere.
- 12 beautiful, extremely hard wearing, permanent, internal ‘SILK™’ inorganic finishes. Maintenance free! Cost neutral.
- Fully vulcanised, continuous gaskets throughout to ensure air and water tightness is preserved, year on year.
- Delivered on certified steel pallets for crane hoisting straight off the truck.
