Condensation – Ordinary composite window manufacturers reduce costs by making the opening sash in aluminium-only, which means the glass is completely surrounded by low-insulating aluminium. This increases the likelihood of condensation and at less-cold temperatures, than uni_one, in which the glass is sealed into a timber sash, with only an external shield of aluminium to keep water at bay – so the timber provides greater insulation around the glass, minimising the risk of condensation for the benefit of the end user. And it completely matches the design of the rest of the windows.
