About Uniform Architectural Limited and the Team

Uniform Architectural Limited has been formed to introduce a wide and innovative range of top quality Timber, Aluminium, Bronze composite windows in the UK, to the more discerning architects and homeowners, who are seeking the ultimate in performance, aesthetic appeal, environmental awareness and sheer luxury – but at realistic prices.
The UK Company is new but the products are not. Uniform Architectural is a wholly owned subsidiary of International Uniform SpA Group of companies, based in Italy, who are European market leaders of Timber composite fenestration systems, which includes composite windows, doors, curtain walling and brise soleil.
First established in 1988, in Verona (the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet fame), Uniform developed and grew steadily by focussing heavily on product R&D and designing innovative solutions in the pursuit of excellence, combining design ingenuity with investment in the latest manufacturing equipment to reduce production costs.
Uniform Architectural Ltd, based in Bristol, is introducing a highly original range of contemporary, high performing window designs into the UK, through two experienced, local, window specialists, Adrian Youd, who can be contacted at any time.

Adrian Youd
Commercial Director
After leaving school in 1987, Adrian was awarded a training sponsorship with one of the leading uPVC manufacturers, Deceunick, who sponsored him through college, where he achieved HND in Polymer Sciences – and assisted in setting up UPVC window profile production. He continued his studies to later achieve an HND in Business Studies and an MA in Business Management.
In 2003, he joined Chris at Lindman as Sales Director of Pultec Ltd, managing pultruded GRP window sales, manufacture and technical support, growing commercial sales from zero to £4.5 million p.a. over the next 6 years.
In 2013, he and Chris spotted an opportunity to introduce a new and refreshingly innovative Composite Window system into UK, from Uniform Group, Italy, so Uniform Architectural Ltd was formed, and hasn’t looked back since, with many major high-rise commercial projects having been successfully completed, as shown in the Gallery section of this website.
Adrian lives close to the Bristol Channel, in Somerset, with his wife and 2 children – and numerous pets, including a Husky, which keeps him extra fit, from the extensive exercise regime such dogs require!
Uniform by name and Uniform by nature
Uni_one® Composite Windows have been rapidly increasing in popularity in UK, since they were first introduced over here, in 2013. Manufactured for over 30 years in Italy and sold throughout the 27 countries of the EU, these timber composite windows owe their reputation to their uniform consistency of quality, engineering excellence and delivery reliability. Little wonder, therefore, that the uni_one aluminium composite window system, is produced by the “Uniform” Group, based in Verona, Northern Italy.
Passionate pioneers of composite windows – which are a hybrid improvement over, both, aluminium windows and timber windows, by combining the two – Uniform SpA, are an enviable success story in which consistent attention to detail and innovative product development, have helped to position them as design market leaders of this new expanding market.
Examples of Innovation
Juliet balconies – can now be provided as an integral part of the standard, inward opening, tilt & turn window or door frame, requiring no additional fixings or wall brackets. 20mm laminated glass panels or traditional metal bars can be provided – and which are certified for barrier loading/guarding containment up to 2 metres wide. This unique development is proving as popular with contractors as architects.
Format38 – Uni_one Format38™ is revolution in glazing where minimal timber composite frames can, at last, achieve a high thermal and acoustic performance. The minimalism of Format38 sightlines means maximum light into the room. Equal sightlines between operable sashes and fixed lights allow total freedom in the design of your façade, irrespective of each desired infill, whether glass, insulated panels, spandrels or louvres.
High-end residential developers, seeking exceptional quality options, need look no further than uni_one Bronze windows externally with Oak internally.
Top Performance – Where the highest performance is required to meet ever-increasing demands (and legislation) for better energy conservation and greater environmental protection – uni_one composite windows rise to the challenge with their high acoustic window up to 46dB reduction – and Passive House window, which insulates down below 0.8 U values for the total window.
Price/Value £
Price is just a number, until it relates to a specification and performance, which then identifies its true “value”. Uni_one composite windows and doors compete favourably, even on price with ordinary composite windows, despite offering all of the above extra benefits – therefore they offer ‘Best Value’ in every sense.
